英国劳埃德船级社
它创建于1760年，是世界上历史最悠久、规模最大的船级社。该船级社由船东、海运保险业承保人、造船业、钢铁制造业和发动机制造业等各方面委员会组成并管理，其主要职责是为商船分类定级；
德国劳埃德船级社
挪威船级社
法国船级局
日本海事协会
美国航运局
中国船级社是中华人民共和国交通部所属的船舶检验局。1996年中国船级社第一次被选任国际船级社协会理事会主席，任期一年（1996年7月1日-1997年6月30日），这标志着中国验船技术的权威性受到国际认可。
船级证书除了记载船舶的主要技术性能外，还绘制出相应的船级符号。各国船级社对船级符号的规定不同。
中国船级社的船级符号为*ZC。
英国劳埃德船级社的船级符号为LR，标志100AI，100A表示该船的船体和机器设备是根据劳氏规范和规定建造的。I表示船舶的装备如船锚、锚链和绳索等处于良好和有效的状态。
我们说的是适宜航行船舶运载不超过25岁,属于由100a1船级社Lloyd's或其他等值.
