在年轻人开始工作后，应不应该要求他们离开家搬出去？在许多西方国家，当青少年到16，17岁时，就被允许搬出去自己住了。他们的父母相信，孩子们应该在一个年轻的时期，就学会照顾自己。这样的话，当他们真正开始工作了，就能很好的统筹（安排）自己的生活。然而，在许多亚洲国家，（famy unit是什么？是family吧？）很注重家庭整体（家庭团结，注重好的家庭氛围？），所以青少年搬出去单独过并不常见。中国家长觉得孩子跟在他们身边生活，由他们照顾更加好。但年轻一代在父辈变老时需反过来照顾他们。这就是为什么中国的青壮年成年人要继续与父母生活在一起。 （手打现翻的，求采纳，可能细节还需斟酌一下，但大概意思就是这样了。）
