鱼壳（强盗）看到（雷翠亭，捕快）后很是怀疑。用刀挑着肉对准他的嘴，雷翠亭仰口就吞下去，神色不变，镇定自若。到第二天天亮时,衙吏报告被盗窃,人们都议论纷纷,司,州府,县衙来祝贺的人都开始担忧。
沓龙超，是晋寿人（晋寿在今洛阳一带）。性格崇尚侠义，年轻时在民间便很有侠名。永熙年间，梁朝将领樊文炽率军攻打益州，益州刺史傅和独自坚守城池。龙超每一次出战，就打的梁军大败。这个时候由于梁军围城已经有相当一段时间，城中的粮食武器都已经用尽，刺史（傅和）就派龙超连夜出城，到汉中去请求援助，于是龙超就被樊文炽所擒。（为了使得龙超投降归顺，樊文炽）答应给龙超封爵，让（龙超）报告城中守军说：“援军不会来了，大家最好还是早点投降吧。”（龙超佯装答应，樊文炽）就把他带上城楼。龙超便告诉刺史说：“数万援军在大寒时节就会到来。”樊文炽听后非常生气，便用火活活把龙超烧死了。（龙超）直到死去，言辞气概都不曾软弱屈服。大统年，（皇帝）发布诏书，谥龙超龙骧将军、巴州刺史。
