我不知道你的程度如何，你看看，如果有什么词汇你觉得你没有用过，换一个你熟悉的。。。因为你写得有一个方面是说你的英文不好。。所以我觉得如果写词用句太好，反而让你的老师觉得怪异。。。
Dear Sir:
I have taken two subjects taught by you, which are leadership and competitive strategy. Both of them are very informative and interesting, from which I have gained a lot in terms of knowledge and method of study. I will miss you very much because you are so nice to us and I know that this is the last time you teach in JCU.
The reason I write this email is because I am a bit concerned about my exam performance of competitive strategy. I had very limited time to read the case since I had other two exams on Tuesday and Thursday morning. Furthermore, as you know, my English is not very good, which makes me extremely difficult to precisely express my opinions in the exam. Hence I want to apologize sincerely for not having performed well in the exam. However, I promise you here that I will work harder in my future study and keep on improving my English.

第一行的正中用较大的字体写上“感谢信”三个字。如果写给个人，这三个字可以不写。有的还在“感谢信”的前边加上一个定语，说明是因为什么事情、写给谁的感谢信。
第二行顶格写对方单位名称或个人姓名，姓名后面可以加适当的称呼，如“同志”“师傅”“先生”等，称呼后用冒号。如果感谢对象比较多，可以把感谢对象放在正文中间提出。
第三行空两格起写正文。这一部分要写清楚对方在什么时间，什么地点，由于什么原因，做了什么好事，对自己或单位有什么支持和帮助，事情有什么好的结果和影响。还要写清楚从中表现了对方哪些好思想、好品德、好风格。最后表示自己或所在单位向对方学习的态度和决心。
正文写好了，另起一行空两格（也可以紧接正文）写上“此致”，换一行顶格写上“敬礼”。
最后再换一行，在右半行署上单位名称或者个人姓名。在署名的下边写上发信的日期。
写感谢信要注意下面几点：
一 叙述对方对自己或本单位的帮助，一定要把人物、时间、地点、原因、结果以及事情经过叙述清楚，便于组织了解和群众学习。
二 信中要洋溢着感激之情。在叙述事实的过程中，除了要突出对方的好思想和表示谢意外，行文要始终饱含着感情。这感情要真挚、热烈，使所有看到信的人都受到感染。
三 写表示谢意的话要得体，既要符合被感谢者的身分，也要符合感谢者的身分。
四 感谢信以说明事实为主，切勿不着边际地大发议论。
