My favourite season is winter, there are two reasons: first, winter is a white season, and I like white very much . Second, my birthday is in the winter .So, winter is a luck season to me. Winter is a beautiful season. When it snows, house, trees and the earth become white. The world is white. Winter also is a liveliness season. After snowing, we like going out to play snow with our friends. We always make snowman and play snowballs, we play happily. Look at the lake, there are many people in it, they’re swimming in winter. They are very brave. On the monitions, there are some children are playing on the sledge, and other children are ski, they had a ski compete.
What a beautiful season it is!
2. My father's daily life
My father is a teacher. He gets up at about six every day. After breakfast he goes to work by bike. He has two classes every day. After class, he often correct the students' homework, prepares for the next lesson, surfs the internet and so on. He has lunch at school. He usually gets home at about half past six in the afternoon. After dinner, he reads books and newspapers. He doesn't go to bed until 10:00.
3. A happy day
I went shopping with my parents today. We bought lots of food, fruit and vegetalbes. I met a friend of mine in the supermarket. We talked with each other happily. Then my parents and I had a big meal at a restaurant near the supermarket. The food there was delicious and the environment was very beautiful. I really had a good time.
4. Our kitchen
Our kitchen is not very big but it's always clean and tidy. There is a stove, some basins and a cupboard. When you enter it, you can see the stove is on your right. There is a cupboard under it. The chopsticks, cups, plates, bowls are all in the cupboard. My mother often cooks delicous food in the kitchen. All of us like it very much.
5. How to keep healthy
It's very important for us to keep healthy because we nearly can do nothing without good health. There are several ways of keeping healthy. First,I think doing enough sports can help us keep healthy. Second, we should balance our diet. We'd better eat more fruit and vegetbles. Don't eat too much junk food because it's bad for our health. Third, it's very important to have enough sleep. Fourth, we should have good mood every day. Last but not least, don't drink or smoke.

Nowadays,high school students hold different opinions about after-class activities.there are two quite different phenomenonena.
Some students are crazy about sports and some other activities.they spend much time in joining the outdoor activities and varies of groups , and also,making new friends.However,they pay a little attention to their studies.
On the contrary, some students spend almost of their time in studies and don't enjoy attending other activities.
In my opinion,I think neither of them is correct.I think we should study hard,but we also need time to relax ourselves,because if a one in a good state,he can do better.
My dog will be dead. She is very old. We have kept her for ten years. Now her hairs are falling. And she always lies on the ground. She can’t see very clearly. She eats a little. She becomes thin. She was very strong before. She is still guarding my family. She is one of my family member. Now we are all uneasy because she will die. I think you may know my thinking. The night before the examination
The clock struck eleven at night. The whole house was quiet. Everyone was in bed except me. Under the strong light, I looked gloomily before me at a huge pile of that disgusting stuff they call“books”.
I was going to have my examination the next day. “Whencan I go to bed ” I asked myself. I did not answer. In fact I dared not.

Here eight does not necessarily mean exactly eight; it just means many.
The dish is also tasty, with its combination of colourful and sweet ingredients. Eating it is not limited to only the eighth day of the 12th month. Chinese people enjoy eight treasure porridge throughout theyear.
The common way of making Labazhou are to boil rice, millet, glutinous millet, glutinous rice, chestnuts and dried dates. Then, add peanuts, almonds, walnuts, melon - seed kernels, dried fruits and brown sugar to make the gruel not only delicious but also nutritious.
It is not certain whether Babaozhou originated in China. But one thing is for sure— the history of Labazhou can be traced back to an-cient times, when the eighth day of the 12th lunar month was consid-ered a day for animal sacrifice.
The introduction of Labazhou on this day was first observed in the Song Dynasty (960—1279), some 1,000 years ago.According to written records, large Buddhist temples would offer rice porridge, with other spices, on the eighth day of the 12th lunar month, a Buddhist festival day for followers to show their faith to Buddha.
By the Ming Dynasty (1368—16644), Labazhou had become such a holy food that it was a customary festival gift the emperors offered to their officials.
As Labazhou gained the favour of the feudal upper class, it quickly became popular throughout the country.
The ingredients used in Labazhou are unlimited. It can include anything one deems precious, nutritious, tasty or good for the health.
The recipe given just now is an average meal. However,you might also want to add red beans, pine nuts, or more expensive lotus seeds, lily,ginkgo seeds and longan.
Labazhou is billed by traditional Chinese medicine as a health food that is particularly good for the spleen, stomach and blood.
