An American based company wants to build a paper factory in our city.But there are opposite opinions towards the issue.
Those who are for the plan say it can create a lot of jobs for local people. What's more, it can bring in new machines and techology so that it can promote local economic development.
On the other hand, those who are against it say that the noise will pollute people's life. What's worse, it will release a large amount of toxic gases which are harmful to people's health. Moreover, the factory will discharge waste water which will pollute the river.
Now people have got to a common view. We should implement the scientific development, economic development but we should not forget to protect the environment while building a harmonious society. The factory shall ensure the use of environmentally friendly facilities.

Some people support that it is a good thing,because the company can supply more jobs for the local peple, at the same time, it can bright in advanced equipments and new technology. Certainly, some people don't agree this people's opinion, they think that the noise will influence people's life , the poisonous gas what the factory released will be harmful to the people's body and the waste water will polute the river. We should insist the opinion that adopting scientific attitude to development. We should not forget to protect the environment and build a harmonious society.So the company must use environmentally friendly equipments. If we all protect our surroundings,our life will become better and better.
